Mont Rubí was a dream that became a reality for Peris family in 1984. That was when they purchased and began refurbishing their 19th century estate in the small town of L'Avellá located in the Alt Penedés region, just an hour and a half outside of the Catalan capital of Barcelona. Black is a youthful and lively 100% Garnacha red wine with an intense purple hue that hints at the delicious fruit to come. The boisterous nose is full of wild berry and Murcian plum accented by a floral note of violets. The wine is silky smooth on the palate, but with a fresh definition and the lingering finish of blackberries continues from one sip to the next, leaves you wanting more.
